Loremaster Borannin says 'The council agrees that you have demonstrated a disdain for our enemy, the Kromrif, that rivals our own. They now ask that you demonstrate your loyalty to the Dain by humbling yourself and serving our people. Give this, my seal, to Mordin. He will instruct you further.

You get given Borannin's Seal . Go and find Mordin Frostcleaver in Mordain's Meats at -220.06, -219.66, 3.75.

You say, 'Hail, Mordin Frostcleaver'

Mordin Frostcleaver says 'Ah, hello there, and welcome to me shop, Human{. Ye'll have to excuse the mess but I've been havin a bloody good time here lately. . . HAR HAR, ye get it? Anyways, thanks to you offlanders I now have a selection of some exotic meats never afore seen here on Velious. I've been amazed at the demand for some of 'em. I can't seem to keep shark meat in stock any more. I wonder if eatin' raw fish is catching on? In addition to supplyin' the freshest meat in Thurgadin I also offer tasks to would-be hunters in the wastes. '

You say, 'what tasks?'

Mordin Frostcleaver says 'Sorry, Runengetum, but I've got no tasks to offer ye this week. If ye be seriously lookin fer sumthin ta do ask ole Borannin 'bout duties fer the crown..

Mordin Frostcleaver says 'Hullo, Runengetum, I see you've signed on for a bit of food service eh? Well, we can always use an extra pair o' hands here dat's fer sure. First things first, warsh yer grubby mitts an' cook up dinner fer good ol' Leif. Should'n be too tough fer ye, he has simple enough taste. Make him a Tundrabear sandwich an' lemme know when he's been fed. Don'tcha ferget ta give him this with his meal. '

Mordin Frostcleaver says 'Dat's easy, ye just take a slab o' dat Tundra Kodiak meat and a jug o' sauce, put it in da oven, den combine the product with a loaf o' bread in a mixin' bowl an' there ye be. '

Tundra Kodiaks can be found in Eastern Wastes. Sometimes they drop Tundra Kodiak Meat . You can buy a Jug of Sauces from Perkins Doughbeard in the bank, who also sells all the other baking ingredients that will be required later in this quest. Combine the Tundra Kodiak Meat with the Jug of Sauces in the oven in Mordains Meat's to produce Saucy Bearmeat . Buy a loaf of bread from Mordin Frostcleaver and combine it in a mixing bowl with the Saucy Bearmeat to produce a Tundrabear Sandwich . Now find Guard Leif standing outside the Paladins Guild at -280.15, 500.15, -21.25. He does not respond when hailed. Give him the Tundrabear Sandwich and Leif's Napkin for the following response:

Guard Leif says 'Well I'll be derned. An outlander that can make a good Bearmeat 'n Bread! Thank ye, Runengetum. '

Mordin Frostcleaver says 'Well don, outlander! We'll make a chef of you before we're through. Next you'll need to whip up some Snow Bunny stew fer Missus Coldheart. Again, give her this napkin with her meal an' lemme know when she's been served. '

You get given Trita's Napkin .

You say, 'what snow bunny stew?'

Mordin Frostcleaver says 'Simple enuff, getcherself two hunksa Bunny meat and a jug o' sauces. Stir 'em in a mixin bowl, then put spices and two flasks o' water with it and cook it in a pot. Mmmm, zesty! '

Snow Bunnies can be found in Eastern Wastes. Sometimes they drop Snow Bunny Meat . Combine two Snow Bunny Meat with one Jug of Sauces in a Mixing Bowl to make Saucy Bunnymeat . Put the Saucy Bunnymeat in an oven together with one Spices , two Water Flasks (purchased from Mordin Frostcleaver, unstacked), a pot (made with smithing skill, see Eqtraders web site) and combine in an Oven (in Mordains Meat's) to make Snow Bunny Stew . You lose the pot in the process. Now find Trita Coldheart in the back room of a house at -114.88, 318.73, -1.25. She does not respond when hailed. Give Trita Coldheart the Snow Bunny Stew and Trita's Napkin for the following response:

Trita Coldheart says 'Thanks for the Snow Bunny Stew Runengetum.'

Trita Coldheart says 'Why thank you, Runengetum, I haven't tasted snow bunny stew this good in quite some time. Be a dear and take this back to Mordin for me. '

She gives you a Dirty Pot . Give the Dirty Pot back to Mordin Frostcleaver for the following reaction:

Mordin Frostcleaver says 'Now yer cookin! Letsee here... Guard Leif, check... Trita Coldheart, check... Ahh yes, next we need an Ulthork meat pie fer Brita. She's a doll, smart too, but she can be testy when she's hungry so get movin'! '

You get given Brita's Napkin .

You say, 'what ulthork meat pie?'

Mordin Frostcleaver says 'Hmm, lemme look that one up. Been a while since I made one. Here we are, two Ulthork meats, a vinegar and a spices in a mixin' bowl. Put yer meat mix, a clump o' dough, an' a pie tin in da oven an' yer good ta go.'

You need to go back to Eastern Wastes and kill Ulthorks. They drop Ulthork Meat fairly commonly. Take 2 unstacked Ulthork Meats , 1 Spices and 1 Vinegar and combine in a mixing bowl to make Spicy Ulthork Meat . Now make a clump of dough by combining 1 Cup of Flour , 1 Bottle of Milk and 1 Egg in a mixing bowl . I used a snake egg and had to travel to East Commons to get it, but other eggs should do. Finally, take the Spicy Ulthork Meat , the Clump of Dough , and a Pie Tin (made with smithing skill, see Eqtraders web site) and combine in an Oven (in Mordains Meat's) to make Ulthork Meat Pie (Pie Tin is lost). Find Lorekeeper Brita in the library at -176.59, 811.06, -16.25.

You say, 'Hail, Lorekeeper Brita'

Lorekeeper Brita says 'Greetings to you. I seek those who call themselves enchanters. Are you an enchanter?'

You say, 'I am not an enchanter'

Lorekeeper Brita says 'I thought so. I have several tasks for you accomplish. Once you have completed them I will have a cap, a robe, sleeves, wristbands, gloves, leggings and boots to reward you with.'

Not sure that the dialogue makes sense there, but still. Give Lorekeeper Brita the Ulthork Meat Pie and Brita's Napkin for the following reaction:

Lorekeeper Brita says 'Ohh, that's better. I get so touchy when I'm hungry. I should probably go apologize to Derrin for being snappy. Please return this to Mordin for me.'

I also got given a Used Pie Tin . Give the Used Pie Tin back to Mordin Frostcleaver for the following reaction:

Mordin Frostcleaver says 'More dirty dishes eh? Well outlander, only one more meal to serve and I'll be done with ye. Make a snow griffin souffle fer the Grand Historian himself. It's his favorite.'

You get given Thoridain's Napkin .

You say, 'what snow griffin souffle?'

Mordin Frostcleaver says 'This one's a bit tricky, ya toss four snow griffin eggs and a pack of spices in de oven. Ye must bake it just right or it's all gunna be wasted. When yer done bring it to Thoridain and if ye did it right he'll give ye his special seal. Just show Borannin that seal and yer shawl and he'll know that yer finished in the kitchen.'

You need to go to Eastern Wastes an hunt Snow Griffins. They drop Snow Griffin Eggs about a third of the time. Take 4 unstacked Snow Griffin Eggs and combine with 1 Spices in an Oven (in Mordains Meat's) to make Snow Griffin Souffle . Find Grand Historian Thoridain in the library at -322.01, 808.84, -11.25.

You say, 'Hail, Grand Historian Thoridain'

You get given the Seal of Thoridain as a reward. Now find Loremaster Borannin at -306.55, 794.78, -16.25 and give him the Seal of Thoridain and the Cloth Coldain Prayer Shawl .

Loremaster Borannin says 'Well done, Runengetum, the council will be impressed with your effort. Here is the woven prayer shawl, wear it with pride. I know there is talk of great plans for you, be sure to come back and ask me what the council has [brewing].'

He returns the Seal of Thoridain to you, and returns the Woven Coldain Prayer Shawl in place of the Cloth Coldain Prayer Shawl. This quest is continued as Loremaster Borannin Fur-Lined Coldain Prayer Shawl Quest.
